Capability

Maintenance management (CMMS)

Preventive schedules, work orders and defect reporting against the same asset record.

What it does

Where an inventory becomes an operational system

An asset register that only records what you own tells you nothing about whether it works. Maintenance is where an inventory becomes an operational system.

A defect raised on an inspection becomes a work order without anybody re-keying it, and the hours and parts land back against the asset and the job.

  • Preventive maintenance and work orders

Schedule preventive maintenance, log work orders, and track service history so equipment stays reliable and downtime stays low.

Questions we get asked

Maintenance management (CMMS) questions

Preventive and corrective work in one place?

Yes. PM schedules run on time, meter or condition, and corrective work orders are raised from an inspection defect or a reported fault against the same asset.

Who can raise a work order?

Anybody with access, from a phone — and a defect recorded on a form raises one automatically.

Can a work order be assigned to specific employees?

Yes, to named people rather than to a queue nobody owns. Tansi also shows you who is carrying the lightest workload at that moment, so work spreads across the crew and utilization stays even instead of landing on whoever is easiest to ask.

What if an asset is serviced somewhere else?

Add the external service record to the asset — date, provider, work performed, invoice and any documents that came with it. It sits beside the work your own crews did, so the asset carries one service history for its whole life and the proof travels with it.

Do parts come off inventory?

Yes. Parts consumed on a work order draw down stock, so maintenance history and inventory stay consistent with each other.

Can we see cost per asset?

Labor, parts and downtime accumulate on the asset record, which is what turns a repair-or-replace argument into an evidence-based decision.

Where this was proven

Equipment moves; the register keeps up. Heavy equipment, rentals, tools, trailers, spools and consumables across yards, spreads and lay-down areas, on one register with condition, service history and the crew or organization currently responsible.
