Service requests and help desk

Requests tracked to resolution instead of living in somebody’s inbox.

What it does

Requests tracked to resolution, not living in an inbox

Service requests arrive by email, phone, text and in person, and the ones that get handled are the ones somebody happened to remember.

One queue, one owner per request, and an escalation path that ends with a person who can act — including, when it is a platform issue, our development team.

Questions we get asked

Service requests and help desk questions

Is this for our staff or for the public?

Both. Internal service requests and public-facing intake run through the same queue, with routing, priority and response targets set per request type.

Does a ticket connect to actual work?

A ticket can raise a work order against an asset or a location, and closes when that work does.

What support do we get from Tansi itself?

Support is handled in-house. Calls are answered by a person in the United States, escalation runs to engineering and then to leadership, and Severity 1 carries a 15-minute response target around the clock.

Can we raise a support ticket with Tansi itself?

Yes, without leaving the platform. Pick one of four priority levels, describe what happened and attach screenshots. The priority you set is what drives the response target, and the ticket goes to our own team rather than into a queue somewhere else.

Can the requester see status?

Yes, with updates posted on the ticket rather than obtained by phoning to ask.

Where this was proven

Where this was proven

Proven across sectors that share nothing except the problem. Federal and provincial government, municipalities, post-secondary education, a health authority, a business association and three major energy infrastructure programs — running the same platform, configured differently.
